FTP’s sexual violence counselling services provide services to individuals (16+ years old) in the Dufferin and Caledon communities.
Staff at the Lotus Centre work with the following partners to deliver a broad array of sexual violence supports across our community:

Our Lotus Centre offers a larger continuum of support, including the following:
24/7 Crisis Counselling
Immediate support, information and referrals for anyone who has been subjected to sexual violence.
FTP’s mobile counsellor is available to support individuals in the community with sexual violence concerns.
Sexual Violence Counselling Services
Compassionate counselling available to anyone (16 years of age and older) who has been subjected to sexual violence. Support and resources are available for victims of human trafficking.
Our clinical counsellors are therapists specifically trained in trauma and sexual violence.
Appointments are available in Orangeville, Shelburne and Bolton and are also offered virtually.
Support for Partners, Family and Friends of Survivors
Compassionate counselling available to the partners, family members and friends (16 years of age and older) of those who have been subjected to sexual violence. Human trafficking support and resources are also available.

Therapeutic Group Counselling
Group counselling available with our compassionate counsellors to support those (16 years of age and older) who have been subjected to sexual violence.
Sexual Violence Peer Support Groups
In partnership with DCAFS, FTP will be hosting peer support groups for those (16 years of age and older) of those who have been subjected to sexual violence.
Groups will be held at our Orangeville location.
Sexual Violence Education and Community Engagement
Education, training and workshops are available to increase awareness and help folks understand the various forms of sexual violence and the supports and services available in the community.
