Family Transition Place is looking for a Clinical Counsellor with the skills and experience to provide trauma counselling to women who have experienced abuse and all genders who have experienced sexual violence. Family Transition Place provides counselling services at offices in Orangeville, Bolton and Shelburne. The successful candidate may be required to work in any of these locations.

Shelter Supervisor (18-Month Contract)
Family Transition Place is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Shelter Supervisor – this is a contract position for 18 months. Reporting to the Director of Client Services, this position will provide supervisory oversight for the Shelter team.

Youth Educator – (One-year Contract, September 2026–September 2027)
Are you youth-oriented, energetic, creative, enthusiastic, computer-savvy and flexible? Can you wear the hats of a public speaker, team builder, multi-tasker, facilitator and developer of educational programs? Family Transition Place is recruiting another educator to work with our Youth Education team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating educational programs to classrooms and small groups to help promote and build healthy relationships
- Researching, developing and implementing strategies that promote healthy relationships and a positive classroom climate
- Creating effective activities and resource materials to support program objectives
- Collaborating with school staff and other community groups and agencies
- Provide referrals and support when needed
