Mobile and/or In-Office Crisis Support
Outreach Services are available to women in the Dufferin and Caledon communities who have experienced or are currently experiencing abuse and violence.
Rural Response Program
Our Rural Response Program provides safety, support and hope by reducing barriers to service for women living in the rural communities of north Dufferin.
Support Within Housing Program
Support for women who have experienced trauma due to abuse who are also managing moderate to severe mental health issues while struggling to find or maintain housing, or who are precariously housed (Support Within Housing)
Transitional, Legal and Housing Support Services
Practical assistance, support and referrals in the areas of housing, legal, education, employment, budgeting, goal setting, and safety planning (Transitional, Legal and Housing Support Services)
Integrated Crisis Support
FTP’s mobile crisis counsellor attends calls in the community—along with community partners—in relation to domestic and sexual violence and mental health and addictions crisis. Our counsellor works in partnership with CMHA, DCAFS, SHIP, Headwaters Health Care Centre, OPP, PAARC and EveryMind. Support is available throughout Dufferin County and Caledon.

Community Homeless Outreach
FTP’s Community Homeless Outreach counsellors provide mobile support to homeless individuals and those who are on the By-Name list needing crisis support. Our counsellors work with other social service providers in the community to build an effective support network for people impacted by homelessness, mental health and addictions. Support is available throughout Dufferin County.

Family Court Support Worker Program
Family Transition Place is able to provide direct support to victims of domestic violence who are involved in the family court process by providing access to a Family Court Support Worker.
