Our cost recovery model allows Family Transition Place to run a sustainable model in delivering our healthy relationship Youth Education programs to schools across Dufferin & Caledon.
However, to continue delivery of these programs, we still rely heavily on fundraised dollars, as the cost recovery portion only accounts for approximately 25% of the total cost to run each 8-week program.
Our vision is that every child in Dufferin and Caledon is able to receive these important programs that teach our youth the benefits of respect, self-esteem and healthy relationships. We foresee a time when no child stays home because school doesn’t feel like a safe place and when all children, teachers and community members participate in an environment of respect, safety and equality.
