Thirty-five years ago, on December 6, 1989, 14 young women were horrifically killed at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. They died because the man who killed them hated women.
The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is a day to mark this tragedy and a day to remember those who lost their lives to gender-based violence.
