Last Sunday’s Heidis Walk for Hope event was SUCH a great day! It was wonderful to see everyone in person again, and to feel the positive energy from all who were involved. Our work to end violence against women continues, but it brings us hope to know that so many people are committed to talking about this critical issue, raising awareness and supporting prevention initiatives.
Very special thanks to Jim Waddington, Maureen Davis, Melissa Shea, Sarah Koeslag, Tony Maxwell, The Commonfare Kitchen, Dan from Theatre Orangeville, Bob, Steve and Adrian from the Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands, the staff at Island Lake Conservation Area and all of INCREDIBLE event-day volunteers. And thank you to all of the businesses that donated items in support of the event, including our participant swag bags, raffle and silent auction. If we’ve missed anyone, please know that you are truly and sincerely appreciated. This event wouldn’t have happened without any of you. Thank you. ❤️
