You may have heard the news about the Canada Post disruption—it has been recently announced that the union is moving from a full national strike to rotating strikes.
If you have recently mailed a donation to support women and children at our shelter, thank you. We will receive your gift once normal postal service resumes.
The giving season is especially critical for us. Many of the women and families we support are rebuilding their lives after escaping violence or experiencing homelessness. Your donations help provide safe shelter, warm meals, counselling, and essentials.
If you haven’t yet donated and would like to help, please consider giving online. Your support will have an immediate impact and bring hope and stability to women and children in crisis.
There are several ways you can continue to support us through the giving season. You can…
- Make an online donation through our website
- Donate via e-transfer
- Please send your gift through to donations@familytransitionplace.ca
- Send us your gift through our CanadaHelps page
- CanadaHelps is a registered charity that has been Canada’s trusted destination for online donating and fundraising since 2000
- Donate in person
- Please visit us at 20 Bredin Parkway in Orangeville, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- If those hours aren’t convenient for you, please call Ashlynne at 519-942-4122, ext. 247 or email ashlynne@familytransitionplace.ca to make other arrangements
