We invite you to celebrate 40 years of hope.

This year, FTP is celebrating 40 years of providing safety, support and hope within the Dufferin and Caledon communities. We acknowledge this longevity is both the unfortunate reality of the enduring and growing need for our services and support as a violence against women agency, yet also a beautiful testament to our community’s commitment and belief in our work.

The collective support of countless volunteers, staff, donors, funders, community partners and stakeholders has shaped our history. We want to show our appreciation for your ongoing support and commitment to our work and invite you to join us at our OPEN HOUSE!

Please save the following date in your calendars:
Thursday, September 18, 2025 | 3–7 p.m. | 20 Bredin Parkway, Orangeville
Registration will be required—a registration link will be sent out later this summer.

Thank you for being a part of our 40-year history.
Let’s create this vision for a future free of violence—together.

As we look to our future, your support is more critical than ever—we have a few ambitious goals we can’t achieve without you.

In honour of our 40 years, we endeavour to:

  • Welcome 40 NEW monthly donors—one of our most sustainable revenue sources
  • Raise $40,000 through third party events
    • If you have an event idea to raise critical funds but need support executing—we can help!
  • Share the stories and experiences of 40 stakeholders
  • Reach 40 new businesses
    • Are you looking to deepen your corporate social responsibility?
    • Would you like to provide meaningful staff engagement opportunities, including payroll deduction?
    • Let us help you launch this!

If you would like to discuss any of these opportunities, please reach out to Kelly Lee at 519-942-4122, ext. 243 or kelly@familytransitionplace.ca.

We hope you’ll consider how you can play an integral part in our future and realizing our vision—a future free of abuse where all individuals are treated with compassion, equity and respect, and live their lives in healthy relationships.
