On December 6, 1989, 14 young women were horrifically killed at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. They died because the man who killed them hated women.

We invite members of this community to join us today for an outdoor vigil recognizing the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women and to remember the 14 women killed in 1989 and the many women who have lost their lives to gender-based violence in the last year.
