“[RRP provides] Consistent support and the ability to ask or discuss anything with my counsellor and know she had answers for—or would help me find answers to—resources, if I did not know them myself.” – FTP Client

Are you a woman who feels afraid in your relationship?
Are you trying to keep your children and/animals safe?
Are you fearful of not having shelter, food or the ability to pay your bills?

Do you feel like you are alone, with no support or resources available?
Do you feel like you will be misunderstood or blamed for your situation?

Have you lost your confidence, and no longer have hope?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, Family Transition Place’s (FTP’s) Rural Response Program (RRP) can help. Our counsellors provide SAFETY, SUPPORT and HOPE by reducing barriers to service for women living in the rural communities of rural Dufferin and Shelburne. FTP’s RRP office is located in Shelburne, but RRP staff are mobile and able to communicate with clients in different ways in order to eliminate barriers. Contact us for free, confidential counselling, advocacy and referral services.
