We have changed the date of our virtual HOPE Project event: The Time is NOW.
Originally scheduled for November 15th, this event will now take place on Thursday, November 25th, 2021. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honoured.
November 25th marks the International Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women, is the first day of the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women—and quite honestly, we need more time. When we received the first cut of the video footage from our partners at Theatre Orangeville, we were simply overwhelmed. While we know intimately the magnitude of the remarkable transformation our shelter, programs, services and staff have undergone since the outset of the pandemic, we weren’t prepared for how emotional, raw and impactful this content would be.
We’re confident you’ll understand our unwavering desire to give this production everything we’ve got. This new date will ensure we’re delivering our community our very best, demonstrating just how remarkable the last 18 months have been for us and for the families we support.
