Our Social Media Policy

The social media accounts operated by Family Transition Place (FTP) (including but not limited to: Facebook and Twitter) are for the dissemination of information to the general public regarding FTP programs and services and, to advocate for an end to gender based violence, violence against women, and promote healthy relationships. FTP welcomes comments and feedback in support of our advocacy and presenting opposing views which further the dialogue about healthy relationships and an end to violence against women.

FTP reserves the right to block accounts and delete posts which are deemed to be derogatory, inflammatory, racist, sexist or are bullying or threatening in nature. Social Media users who seek to emphasize their position through the use of excessive and repetitive posts may be blocked in order to support access for a broader audience.

Respectful comments, opinions, and feedback which serve to further the discussion are welcome and encouraged.
