On February 22nd, please practice kindness and wear a pink shirt (button, tie, etc.) – to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. The last Wednesday in February is recognized annually across Canada as Pink Shirt Day in commemoration of a bullying incident that took place at a school in Nova Scotia in 2007.

“Through our campaign this year, we encourage everyone to “Make Nice”. We all have the capacity to be kind and compassionate, and our slogan acts as a friendly reminder that no matter what our differences, being nice is always a choice worth making.”¹

Show your support for this initiative by sending us your photos wearing pink – (kelly@familytransitionplace.ca) and we’ll post them on our social media pages. Let’s go PINK in support of anti-bullying!
